Cornell method involves dividing a sheet of paper into 3 part:
LEFT COLUMN for main ideas and keywords
RIGHT COLUMN for lengthier details
SECTION IN THE BOTTOM for writing a summary after the lecture or lesson
🔖THE INFORMAL OUTLINE
Useful for showing major points and supporting ideas.
🔖THE BLOCK METHOD
-Block notes are especially useful if you need to record a great deal of information very quickly.
-Block notes are written continuously across the page, separating the details by dashes(-)or slashes(/).
🔖The modified block method
Having all of the information grouped under a heading without showing various levels of support as in an outline.
🔖MAPPING METHOD
Mind maps are commonly drawn from a central point, purpose or goal in the center of the page and branching outward to identify all the ideas connected to that goal.
3 WAYS TO REVIEW YOUR NOTES.
-Recite from the heading.
-Recite from the recall questions.
